Terms of Use

Last updated: August 31, 2026

By using My Family Allowance, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What the service is

My Family Allowance helps parents track kids’ allowance balances, memos, and weekly credits. It is a personal tracking tool, not a bank, payment processor, or financial advisor.

Your account

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure. Do not share your parent login with people who should not manage your family’s data.

Family page access

Each family gets a short private URL and a shared password. Anyone with that URL and password can view kid balances and transaction history. You are responsible for who you share those with.

Acceptable use

Use the app for your own family’s allowance tracking. Do not try to break into other families’ data, abuse the service, or use it for anything illegal.

Accuracy and availability

Balances and history reflect what you enter and what the weekly job credits. The service may be unavailable at times for maintenance, outages, or other reasons. There is no guarantee of uninterrupted access.

No warranty

The app is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Use it at your own risk. It is not a substitute for your own records or professional financial advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for lost data, incorrect balances, downtime, or any damages that come from using or being unable to use the service.

Changes

These terms may change over time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are posted.

Contact

Questions about these terms can go to the site operator via the contact link on the home page footer.
